Rainer: Founding Father of the Roland Library
Rainer built the first Platinum layout in the history of the MIDI Designer community — a single editor covering eight classic Roland polysynths from the ’80s: the JX-3P (with Organix and KiwiTechnics mods), the MKS-30, the JX-8P, the Juno-106, the Alpha Juno 1 and 2, the MKS-50, and the MKS-70. That layout didn’t just set the bar — it invented the activity. Dozens of community contributors have cited it as the reason they started building. Rainer also built a dedicated editor for the JX-10/MKS-70 running the Vecoven PWM firmware upgrade. If you own vintage Roland rack gear, you’re in the right place.
