Hi Adrien!

Although I do not have the machine you mentioned, here are some things that could help to understand where the issue might be:

- First, what brand and model of Bluetooth MIDI adapter are you using?
- What kind of data are you sending? (PCs, CCs, SYSEX ...)
- Have you checked the Log Pane included in MDP2? This can help a lot to understand the format of messages on your machine. https://mididesigner.com/wiki/doku.php/manual:chapter-troubleshooting#log_pane
- Finally, are you using the manual? I can see that there is a lot of info about the MIDI implementation. http://www.kiwitechnics.com/index_htm_files/Kiwi3P_UM_v270.pdf

Hope it helps!
Ed.
Ed. Thank you

Generating BUG

ADRIEN
Hi Adrien. Based on the log info, you're sending CC 43 on channel 16 all over the time, only the values sent differs.

According your manual, the CC43 corresponds to: VCF Pitch Follow (43) (0-127), that is a continuous controller with a full range, so it should be assigned to something like a slider.

My advice: try something simpler first like a button assigned to a controller with toggle values, just to be sure the connections are correctly stablished on both ways. Try also receiving some data.
Exempli gratia:
Start/Stop Arp [CC70] (MIDI min: 0,  Arp Stopped)  (MIDI max: 64, Arp Playing)

Here is the try of the arp

On the 2 first line i was clicking on the button under the writing ARP and nothing happen.
On the last line the synth stopped all sound (bug)

Hi Adrien.

You're sending CC 108 (Arpeggiator Mode) and 109 (Arpeggiator Range) now.
Why not to try with the proposed example? (CC70, just a toggle button)

Some other hints:
The "TapeMemory button" should light when a incoming MIDI command is recognized by the 3P.
Make sure "Enable Midi CC Receive" is enabled your kiwi3P. Check the Midi Soft Through/Filter options.
Also check if the incoming/outgoing midi channels are correctly set on your kiwi3P (just in case), or just select "Omni".
The 3P also sends MIDI data. Are you receiving MIDI input on the MD side?
Have you tried using a wired MIDI interface, to see if there is any difference with your BT-MIDI adapter?

Ed
Hi Adrien, have you been able to make any progress?
Ed

Thanks for asking
I bought a midi card to get the info from the 3p. As soon as I get it I ll tell you the message I got

Adrien
Ed

midi card is here.
which app do you recommend to hear from the 3P ? (for mac - the easiest !)

in midi designer where can i get the message in ?

Adrien
Hi Adrien!

Wich MIDI interface did you buy? (just to know)
As a MIDI monitor for OS X, I can recommend Snoize MIDI Monitor.
In MD you can use the Log Pane to display MIDI signals going in and out : https://mididesigner.com/wiki/doku.php/manual:chapter-troubleshooting#log_pane

I use tascam iu2
It seems I don t receive anything on snoize
Not even in the log pane. (I can see the out but no in)

Midi cc enable was checked also.

Hi Adrien!

At this point, I think our research so far points on the MIDI settings on your kiwi 3P.
- Are you using the latest firmware version? (from the JX-3P Upgrade, just to be sure we are reading the same manual)
- Have you tried different positions with the external selector switch?
- Are you able to establish connection using any other software (kiwi editor, MIDI Quest 12, etc)
This may seem obvious, but also check the MIDI connections In>Out, Out>In, cables, etc..

By the way, are you using/have you tried this layout? (its was made to program the KIWI-3P from the iPad):
