To enable Bluetooth capability, ensure and ensure MIDI Designer Pro is enabled to access Bluetooth. The setting is located in -

1.  Mac - System Preferences, Security & Privacy / Bluetooth, 
2.  Ipad or iPhone - Settings / Privacy / Bluetooth

MDP2 does not create a WIFI MIDI instance, but can join an established WIFI MIDI instance.
