First attempt of an Equinox sysex Editor. More to come, not finished at all.
1.2 = More Controls and little bug fixes. Midi out Page 1-16 complete. Colour yellow for Performance part select. Performance fx-send Page 1-16 complete.

Fx Pages (Type+Settings) are working in Sound mode and Performance mode.

Based on the sysex Implementation from the sk760/sk880 manual, because it doesn't exist a detailed sysex midi Implementation for the equinox Synthesizer/Workstation.
So it's maybe possible to control the S2 and S3 Synths, too. All existing GEM sysex manuals (for different synths) are nearly identical. (Exact the same sysex examples)
Real time sysex controls for Performance and Fx settings. I can't find the sysex adresses for sound edits, but that was my main interest and the reason to create this layout.

Hopefully someone is able to test it, too. Sometimes the equinox seems to be slow in receiving realtime edits, but a second tap on the control works for me.

The buttons 1-8 on Performance pages have to be pressed, to select the Part, before selecting/changing a new sound for this part. Like pressing the frontpanel part buttons on the synth itself. To see what changes are made, it's helpfull to select for example the fx 2 page on the synth. When changes are made in the app, you can see the changes happening in Real Time on the synth.

Nice, thanks for this, looking forward to where this goes! Edited the post to include the new "General Music (GEM)" (is that right?) and also I blew away the image titles because blanks will give you (slightly) better names. Keep rocking, thanks again.

Thank you. Generalmusic is correct. They've made some professional synths in the past, but it doesn't exist an editor for one of them. S2 and S3 are called "musicprocessor" with polyphone aftertouch and at least the Equinox. All with 6 Osc, sequencer, sample import, HD and SCSI option and double midi-trio. Very cool features, but Generalmusic (italian company) is more known for simple keyboards or Workstations.

This is a huge layout and obviously cost you dozens (hundreds?) of hours. The massively difficult work is done. In the next few months I'd love to figure out how to get it to be Gold, which is mostly visual... I'm thinking of trying to use Upwork to achieve this. Let's see what 2024 brings. Big up again on this layout and thanks for sharing.
