Interesting, the top menu bar should have Cancel on the left, and Done on the right, in a dark bar.  Does appear on mine on 14.8.1 and 2.311.  I don't have my other iPad with me right now to see if it is doing something different on iOS 15.  Can you kill the app and reboot, see if that restores the menu options?
I usually try that. Tried again, did not change. Thought it might be a white letter vs black letter that I previously reported. That didn't affect the Add Image menu. Maybe my iPad is too new?
Please see if you can repro in the latest beta 2.3112 thanks.

Another place in 2.311 where text is not visible - Edit Presets.  Some of the entries show white on white.  Seems that after a while, they sometimes change to gray and become visible.

This needs to be fixed!
Thanks, I'll see if we can fix in the next beta for 2.3112... it's not done yet. Thanks.

Original Image Manager defect fixed, but new defect exists in 2.3112

MIDI Target Manufacturer(s): Other/Unlisted Maker
2.3112 has a dark Cancel and Done button but the process has changed such that a new image cannot be selected. The behavior in 2.311 is such that when a new image is accepted it appears in the images list. Then a swipe to the right shows the “Add Image” button and another image can be selected and added.

This does not happen in 2.3112. Selecting Add Image brings up a window with the last selected image and Cancel and Done choices (top pix in attached image). Tapping Cancel or Done does nothing except close the widow. Tapping Add Image again brings up the previous window.

However, clicking on the image puts a check mark in the image (see middle pix) and clicking Done puts it in the image list. Selecting Add Image again shows the original window with no way to select a new image – EXCEPT, if you Force Close MDP, you get the last pix which allows you to “Select More Photos”.

Looks like you have not allowed MD next to access your photos, or you have allowed it to access a single photo.  Is working fine for me on both 14 and 15.  My problem is that on 14, the header bar is now dark text on dart background.
Thanks for your response. In Settings on my iPad, MIDI Designer is listed and Photos is selected.

However, MD Next is not listed, thus I can't access photos.  I don't need it in MD Next antmore.
