How did you get those extra icons in your layouts?

I see you have a few little nice icons in your layout that seem to be extra characters.  I have not found these!  Any chance of splilling the beans on how to get them?

I've just noticed an app in iTunes that allows you to create emoji icons from scratch (never used them before myself, didn't even know what they were called until I read this post!)

Search for Emoji Studio. Presumably this facility can be used to great effect in MD.
