Preamble #1: Not sure if this is a basic or advanced question. I'm new to MIDI Designer but overall an intermediate MIDI user. I've searched pretty thoroughly and I can't figure this out.
Preamble #2: I have learned how to copy controls so that they are "linked" (for example, two of the same knob on different pages that control the same channel/CC and move in unison) and I've also created subcontrols. However, I don't know if the following is possible (and if it is, how to do it).
Preamble #3: In general, I like to have multiple options for every conceivable scenario, which is why I'm about to ask the following question. (Just in case I need a reason, and so that no one says, "Why would you want to do that?"
Though I don't think that's going to be the case around here.)
Can I create copies/linked combinations like I did with the knobs, but crossing between different types of controls? For example, can I create two knobs that control two different CCs and then create an X-Y pad that controls these same CCs, and using each one updates the other (like in the case of my copied knobs)? Or can I create a cross-fader on one page and have that linked to a slider on another page, where the control goes both ways? I can't think of a good way to do this with the usual subcontrol options.
Thanks in advance.
