Toggle Button CC bug & FR

Question

Hi,

I have mapped a button to toggle mute on/off of track1 in LoopyHD app, using midi CC106 to do so. However, it doesn't seem to be working properly, there's a delay & I must double tap to get it to work. Strangely it works perfectly when going into design mode & sending a sample msg from the button.

Also, changing the button property from toggle to Momentary fixes the problem, but then I don't have any visual indication as to whether the button is on/off.

This leads to a feature request - when loading or saving presets, can the value of the button toggles be saved & loaded too please.

Thanks for your question. 2) state of toggles is saved with presets. I'd love to know if you've found an inconsistency but 1) maybe you've got a MIDI loop? Not sure, but the reason you're getting a delay is because (from what I can gather here) Loopy HD is expecting a momentary. Question: if you set the momentary to "send on only" it ceases to work, right?

After some experimenting, u can safely ignore my previous post  :)

HST, here's some info for people who own both MDP & Loopy to get this to work - Once I changed the min value to 127 (the same as max) inside the button properties everything worked flawlessly (this also explains why only double tapping worked before). Also, presets do save the toggle info, with one caveat, if u load a preset where the buttons are turned on, before turning the same tracks on in Loopy, then the button's functions are reversed...Still very cool stuff!!

From the symptoms you have mentioned, it seems that Loopy performs the toggle when receiving a value of 127?

Indeed, or values above 64 maybe, I'll test it later on..EDIT: any min value greater than 0 makes it work with Loopy, a bit strange, but this virtual midi world full of illusions & such.. ;)  <3
