In Mac OS, Moving Controls or Changing Size may fail and is not consistent

In Mac OS, when attempting to move a control in Design Mode, occasionally the control will not move. Attempting to change the size of a control is just as inconsistent.

If a control is selected by holding the mouse down and moved, the control may or may not move. If the control is selected and the mouse is released and then reselected and held down, the control may or may not move. I haven't found any consistent behavior one way or another.

The layout is a simple test layout. This issue occured with any layout since the inception of the Mac OS version. It's more of an inconvenience to have to attempt to move or resize a control but not an outright failure.

I am not able to reproduce this problem.  Purchased a cheap non-apple mouse, and still no problem.  I believe you are using a non-apple mouse (from other posts).  Is it bluetooth or dedicated receiver (ie., with a little USB plug)?  Have you tried a different mouse, and receiver if appropriate?

Issue still exists. Not aware of it in any other app. I use the latest version of Mac OS (Sonoma 14.3.1) and MDP PROx (10.0.6). Will try again with MDP Next 10.1.0.

I was using a Logitech Pebble. Just switched to Apple Magic Mouse. No difference. I am workimg on a video where the effect is quite obvious using the Apple mouse. I will soon answer with a short extract. I primarily use the Mac OS version of MDP for design and have to contend with this anomaly.
