MIDI Designer does not currently read string data, so it cannot automatically load preset names.  I do not have the layout, but presume it is using "named ticks" for the presets.  In this case, there are three approaches:

1. Individually edit the named tick labels
2. In named ticks, select edit text, copy out to a spreadsheet or text editor, and bulk edit preset names there, then reload to MDP2
3. Build a MDP2 macro that recalls the preset names from the hardware, capture in a MIDI monitor program, format in a spreadsheet, and load as named ticks (Prolly only worth the effort if there are a lot of presets).  See
