Today when responding to someone about a different layout, I realized I had this KIWISIX layout created (who knows when, probably a year ago?) that I never uploaded. It's possible there are some bugs - but what I recall was that on the KIWISIX OS you are able to use different MG waveforms like random, etc. However, I found that while I could throw these settings on, they didn't actually SAVE to a patch, which was very discouraging. Perhaps this will get implemented and corrected at some point. I am not sure. I no longer own my KIWISIX so I don't think I'll be pursuing this much. That said, I think this layout is pretty much sufficient for everything you'd need on your KIWISIX. It looks like I also included some notes about V4.2 MIDI BUGS that should help you understand the layout better. These include:
MG waveform must be re-entered if MOD changed.
Random PWM wave causes delay of sound EG by up to 4 seconds at slowest speed.
No "Speed" CC found for ARP.
No "attenuator" CC (but may not be bug).
Anyway, I hope this helps anyone with a KIWISIX! I will do my best to help, but I fear I may not be helpful without the original unit I tested it on.
