MIDI Message Type “No MIDI send/receive” sends MIDI out from MDP - MIDI Designer Q&A

The button toggles MIDI RECEIVE only to avoid feedback from Live. It’s called “midi receive”… no?
No! It's labeled No MIDI send/receive. I interpreted it as disabling the input and output from/to an external device. I occasionally have a control that is not a Supercontrol. I was trying No MIDI in lieu of defining the control as a SysEx to avoid sending random CC's that may mess up the external device.

For receive, there is a MIDI Receive On/Off property. Perhaps it should be relabeled such as "No live receive"?
With dsabou on this one.  When you select no midi send / receive, it disables ability to make any other midi settings on the control.  So what midi message should we expect it to send?  And I have relied on it the same way dsabou has - a control that is silent on midi, but doing something else useful (like show/hiding a panel).
OK, I forgot about this. I’ll verify the bug and fix as soon as I can. Thanks everybody for keeping me straight.
I’m not able to repro a no send receive sending. Help?
Scratch that, I see it now.
Please see if you can repro in the latest beta 2.3112 thanks.
