In iPadOS, hide swipe up bar at the bottom of the MDP screen - MIDI Designer Q&A

What's the app that hides the bottom menu? Thx.

The 3 dots are there because we allow split-screen and slideover. We can't shut those off programatically. So unless we want to release another SKU, we're stuck.
interesting that Apple removed the ability to shut off multitasking recently

AFAIK
TL;DR but possibly interesting?

Unlikely but worth mentioning perhaps
same thing, again

maybe there's something to it.
Thanks for the video on the Apple-way to disable the swipe-up bar. The second one works! It also turns off the 3 dots for split screen. That won't work for me when I use Design Mode.

The app that disables both the swipe up and 3 dots is Scrabble GO. I described how it works in my original question. I prefer that over activating Guided Access. But Guided Access definitely will work for users in an orchestra or band.
I found 2 other apps that disable the swipe up initially, MIDISpy and MIDI Wrench. When the app is activated, the Swipe Up bar is active, but after a second or 2 it is greyed out. Then one swipe activates it so a second swipe will close the app. This is far superior to the Apple approach that adds several steps to deactivate/reactivate it. Please look into implementing this app based approach. Thanks, Don
As we mentioned here (https://mididesigner.com/qa/9185) a fix to be like MIDISpy is now in Beta. Thanks!
