This layout uses MIDI RPN (Registered Parameter Number) to control channel coarse tuning.

Channel tuning is part of the GM2 spec, and GM2 complaint boards should respond properly, at least +/- 12 semitones

Since MPD2 does not have a built in RPN control, the RPN is assembled from four individual controls: cc101, cc100, cc06, & cc38

Fascinating thanks for sharing! At some point let’s discuss better support for RPN. My understanding was that NRPN covered most bases.

NRPN is cc99 MSB, cc98 LSB.  RPN is cc101 MSB, cc100 LSB.  Just duplicate the NRPN type with the updated ccs.  All other options the same.  Of course, I only figured this out in the last few days - trying to help the Korg user.
