Hi @midiot, the first questions are going to be: 1) can you get a MIDI connection to the Clavia Nord and 2) when kind of MIDI messages does it expect? For the first part, is the synth connected to a computer? Does it have MIDI in? For the last question you'll have to check the user manual.
Hi Admin,
Thanks for your reply.    I'm just waiting for a midi interface to connect to the ipad.   The clavia nord has standard midi in/out ports and a usb midi port.   At the moment, the keyboard isn't connected to the computer but I can have it connected next time I come online.   Thanks again.
Hi Admin,
I'm now connected to bpth my pc via usb and to my ipad via a Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer II
Next task for you, and I can definitely help if you cannot figure it out, is what kind of MIDI message the Roland needs to do a patch change. Then you should try to get that to happen with a knob, first off. Then we can talk about button groups. Good luck and let me know how it goes, please. Best!
Dan
