The Behringer X Touch Mini is a small USB Midi device.

In standard mode it has two layers with the following controls per layer

  • 8 knobs with feedback that also can be pressed (momentary)
  • Two additional rows of 8 buttons (highlighted)

The provided template provides the controls as a virtual X TOUCH Mini with two layers A and B color coded (yellow and red)

Does MIDI Designer control the Behringer or the other way around or what? Sorry if this is totally obvious.

This template does not control the X touch mini.

It is meant as a virtual replacement of the real device (with same knobs and layout).

I used the original Behringer device with lightroom via USB but now using my iPad with this template instead (now via Bluetooth)

If this is nonsense to post such experiments here, I may delete it again ...
