EX: If I can use the 'panels' feature why doesn't the Config - About say 2.9 ?

Is the unit upgraded or not? Confusing without an accurate Config - About panel

Maybe I've missed something?

Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, you are on the latest version. Panels are a type of control in MIDI Designer. Try googling "midi designer panels" (without quotes) to see how they work. Regarding removing the hand and magnifying glass... on most iOS versions (and iPads) they should disappear when used in landscape mode. However, on the new 12.9" iPad Pro (3rd gen), the 11" iPad Pro (3rd gen) and on iOS 9 they cannot be hidden.

Regarding panel controls... You have to shut ALLOW PANEL CONTROLS off and then turn it on to "pick up" the controls.

Hand and Glass is very annoying for me too. iPad 12,9 here.
