Manual Entry on Snap to Value

This video explains snap to value and shows some examples. If it doesn't answer your question, please leave a comment here, ask another question, or contact us.

Steps

  1. Make a knob
  2. Make a button (it will be toggle by default)
  3. Make it a supercontrol
  4. Add the knob as a subcontrol of the button

Now you should see that when you turn the button on, the knob jumps to the MAX midi value of the button. When the button goes off, it goes to its min midi value. If this doesn't work, stop here and figure out what steps you didn't follow, or get in touch with tech support (put a comment here or via the contact form).

Step 5

Add snap to value using a time of say 1 second for the supercontrol button. Now it will take 1 second to go to the max value of the button.
