Can I use a button to toggle between sets of controls? - MIDI Designer Q&A
Can I use a button to toggle between sets of controls?

Can I set a toggle so my button can control one thing in one state and one thing in another? So if my button is on it will set knob 1 to control cc03 but when it’s off it will set knob 1 to control cc07?

You could write rules in the Stream Byter plugin to transform the MIDI messages and have the button trigger this change.
The way I would do what you want is to set knob one to control cc03 and then write a rule in Stream Byter that tells the knob to change cc03 to cc07 when the button is pushed.
Here is a link on the basic of Stream Byter to help you get started -

Hope this works for you - Mitch
