Hi, i’m trying to map some parameters in Midi Designer 2 to control video paremeters in Resolume Avenue and having some difficulties, Could you please help?
First, I’m trying to use an XY pad to map the Position X and Position Y parameters in the VJ app Resolume Avenue, so that i can use the XY pad to move a video clip around the canvas in Resolume. I’ve successfully mapped the parameters to the pad, but it needs to be much more subtle. The XY pad in MD2 is currently extremely sensitive- a very small touch causes the clip to go to a number like -3200 and the clip will go off the screen. The smallest touch adjusts the value by about 250, but i would much prefer it to adjust the value by more like 10 or 20. I don’t see anywhere to modify the sensitivity in Resolume Avenue. In MD2, I have played with some settings (like midi range, display min/max, and default value) but I haven’t been able to get the sensitivity right yet. How can i fix this to make the sensitivity less extreme?

Secondly, I mapped the scale slider to a slider in Midi Designer 2. It works very well. The only thing that I want to change is that Midi Designer displays the parameter value in Midi Notes, as opposed to %. Percentages would be more helpful to see here, and i see that Midi Designer shows the percentage in the default value section of the Midi deisign page, but i haven’t been able to figure out how to display the % in play mode. Is there any way to show the % value in play mode instead of the midi value? How?
Third, I’m trying to map the parameters of a video crop in Resolume Avenue to XY pads. I’m using 2 XY pads- one for top and right paremeters, and one for left and bottom parameters. It kind of works but I’m having the same kind of issue that i did in the first issue- its very senstive and I want to make it less senstive.
Also, I want to confine/limit the max/mins of the midi for the 4 parameters to respectively be 0, 0, 1920 and 1080 (as these are the default values that are the actual size of the full size video frame). How can i do this?
