Many thanks for posting this. The Meris pedals are given new life! Their memory limitation is perhaps their only weakness. Can I ask, what are the differences in using the Extra Features Pack for Preset saving, compared to the built in Midi Designer Preset option, by clicking ‘More’? (I need money for food after buying my latest gear, as usual)! Now off to do some tweaking!

The difference between them is just the space/ease of use when using the extra features pack as well as the ability to save presets directly to the iPad as well as the Pedal so you can pull up a visual of your creations.  I do have a preset page that you can use that doesn't use the extra features pack where you push each button individually but it just takes up a lot of space.

Yes, I bought the extra features pack. I’ve not yet managed to get the Meris to respond to my iPad commands. Going through a Chase Bliss box, set to Empress on the inside. Using a TS cable. My midi clock is getting through ok. But I’ve yet to get a response other than that. Midi eh! laugh

hmmm you might need a trs cable instead of ts.  I have both midi i/o and a chase bliss midi but the meris go through the i/o let me plug them to the chasebliss and get back to you

Yeah you just need a TRS cable with the empress side of the jumper connected.  make sure the connection is over two prongs as well.  You wont be able to do midi out with the chase bliss cable so you can't turn knobs and see the change on the app but you can use the layout to control the pedal.
