How to create a complete blank layout ?

Dear all,

Problaby a very noob question:

How can i create a complete blank layout with no knobs etc. at all ?

When i start MD, i always get a layout full of everything.

I want to make my own layout from scratch.

Also, i don't like that MD logo on the background of the layout.

I assume you can remove this ?

Very short answer: config -> Actions -> New

though if you crash MD and come back, if you had no controls on the layout, they will regenerate. It's a feature to some, a bug to others.
