Best answer
First answer back from Craig himself is: "They can use either a UD-WL01 to communicate via WIFI or an MD-BT01 to communicate via Bluetooth. Their choice. Both are devices made by Yamaha."

It will also work with the Camera Connection Kit, directly plugged in.
