First thing: have you turned on background audio (if there is such a thing) in Sunvox?
hi, Sunvox doesn't need background audio switched on, it's on automatically :).  Also sunvox receives midi from NLog just fine..FYI, after some experimenting I can get it to work on my iPad 3, just not with my itouch 5g..
Weird. I'll check this out. I wonder if this affects all virtual midi applications with MIDI Designer in smaller form factor. Thanks!
Just tried playing NLog & Sunrizer with MDP on my itouch & they work fine, strange..
With my debugging hat on, I'd have preferred that you said, "it's all broken on the iPod touch." The actual situation will be hard to debug. Thanks, though, I'll see what I can figure out. Please comment back if you find out anything else, and THANKS for getting into this and even helping with the problem bracketing.
Just to let u know to get to midi settings in Sunvox, u press the settings wrench (top right), Preferences (near the bottom of the menu), then Midi.

If I find any other apps that have probs, I'll let u know. Many thanks, & all the best.
sorry, can I get a status on this problem again? Is it just on the iPod touch, or just Sunvox? If it's just Sunvox, then the problem is probably that MIDI Designer is sending Active Sensing messages. This will be fixed in 1.4.1 (submitted this week, will show up in first week of December).
Both - just Sunvox & only on the itouch.
Great thanks. So, Sunvox on iPad works, or you don't know?
Yes, it works on iPad :)
Hmmm... that makes it much harder to track down. I'll see what I can figure out on this, hopefully this week.
probably will be fixed in 1.4.2. just found a bug with virtual midi ports not updating... let's see
