Saving Layout now includes File Ext [closed]

When saving layouts the file ext is now included in the file name. Is this a bug  or design?

I found the TestFlight   Confirmation email in my junk folder. I confirmed and installed latest version on my iPhone. At least MD is now showing up in TestFlight. LOL…
