First off, THANKS for the kind words. If you feel so inspired, be sure to leave a nice review in the App Store so the relevant World of people-who-might-buy-the-app find it, too.

Regarding your suggestion: the answer is NO and also, it's the first time that we've heard of this suggestion. The initial issue around this particular suggestion is that it breaks the split between Design Mode and Play Mode... is the issue mainly that you want to reduce the number of touches required?

Note: try to answer this last question as a comment on this answer if you can. Thanks!

Hi and thanks for the amazingly swift reply. We make audio recordings using mic amplifiers controlled by midi.  Your app will allow my machine operators to adjust the levels of the units, which can be located 100's of meters away. So they would have the iPad and ideally be able to enter the track names for the project even though they would not necessarily know what to do in design mode.  Also the track names can be different lengths - something like "Main VOX1" or "Ride" or "HH" or "ambience Left" for example
I like it, but it's a pretty specific case. I'll give it some thought and circle back (ping me here if I don't say anything for a week or so). Thanks!
Dan
