Buttons, momentary with Send On Only, broken?

Question

I've a number of buttons set to Momentary with Send On Only. They seem to be misbehaving. I'd expect them to briefly flash on then off, which they do for a while before sort of getting out of step, sometimes flashing but sometimes turning on and staying on. Is this broken or am I missing something?

They are supercontrols or just regular controls? If you hold long enough, do they act as expected (but poorly)? Thx.

Regular controls.

It’s quite difficult to tell, the problem seems to be intermittent. I’ll repeatedly press the button and every one in ten or so, the button goes on and stays on. At that point the action reverses, a press briefly flashes the button on. Couple more presses and it reverts back to correct. It’s impossible to tell if holding the button down makes it any better because I never know if it’s going to misbehave.
