Ableton pitch effect jumps 2 at a time

My first MD project.  Mapping to Ableton pitch effect works but it jumps 2 semitones at a time.  Any ideas?

I apologize for being unclear.  I'm working with the midi pitch effect.  The one you drop into a midi track and modify the midi pitch for the track.

Confirmed: The MIDI Pitch Effect in Live increments by two values (and decrements by two values) with each change (0-127) in a MIDI CC. Using 14-bit CC doesn't help, either. 

Solution: change the range in Live.
