Hi there and thanks for your question. So... how are you routing from the tg77 back to the iPad? I don't know, BTW, if the editor is actually bidirectional. I'll go ask the author right now.

You said you made a page change for the channel (using "Renumber Controls" I guess?). Because there are "channel" bytes in most controls, but they are not being used for MIDI Channel selection, but for Element selection - just a different position in the sysex string.

Changing the channel is not possible in the layout, unless you change each and every control manually - quite tedious work to do. Please try and set your TG77 receive channel to either "1" or to "omni". Does that help?

And yes, the layout works bidirectional. All controls are set to "MIDI receive", means they will respond to changes being made in the TG77.

Thanks for getting back - I will try this next time i get in the studio ! I had my channel set to 12 and haven't tried to change it.
I should have mentioned the channel number in the description. It's a kind of shortcoming that channel adjustment is not possible, but it was the only way to address the elements, except copying the controls 3 more times- too many controls and also not enough banks available
