A user wrote today

I have a lot of layers with shapes, panels etc.. in my layout, a wrong click on these elements in design-mode can destroy the graphics of the layout - that's why i would like to see a "lock"-funktion (maybe password protected) for user-layouts -or, better, a lock for all graphic elements, but with the possibility to access all parameters and inspect everything.

There are three types of Design Locks in MIDI Designer. 

  1. Design Locks

    Useful for excluding certain elements from your current workspace.
     
  2. Page-Wide Locks

    Useful for locking the layout of a page (pretty much exactly as you say)
     
  3. Config -> Design Mode Locked

    Useful to make sure a user doesn't accidentally enter Design Mode and modify the layout.
