At this time, you cannot affect the MIDI max and min of a subcontrol from a supercontrol.

However: another way to think about it is to have various supercontrols that control the same sub. Depending on their MIDI min and max, they will move the subcontrol more or less.

Does that make sense?

Yes it does, even though what I am aiming at is to manually grab and move the sub (say an XY control) while its output range has been defined by other controls, all the while remaining in play mode. I might add this to the wish list. Many thanks for the reply.
Cool, yes, it's on the wishlist, as in "be able to modify any parameter of a subcontrol." From a design perspective, the issue is that some of these things -- like Channel Changer -- actually change the channel. Others, like Transpose, only affect the outgoing MIDI. But I digress... thanks for your suggestion!
