rtpMIDI: All connected but no midi between iPad and DAW

Question

Hi everyone

-i have midi designer on my ipad with 8 knobs when i move the knobs there is a red light in the top right hand corner  indicting midi action .
-midi designer  config is connected to my pc but hardware and virtual sources are continiuosly searching
 -on my pc win 8 i have rtpMIDI setup and conected from pc to ipad .

then on same pc i have fl studio and midi designer is howing up and enabled in the midi settings output and input and are on and port 1 .

 
i dont understand then why when i am moving the knobs on midi designer and  it is no registering a midi note in  fl studio  ?? i cant midi learn if  it doesnt connect . is there something missing in what i have done .

hey there thanks for your question. See if you can find a MIDI monitor or a way to figure out if MIDI is coming in outside of FL Studio.

We've also had problems before with rtpMIDI and permissions as you install it. Did you happen to say "no" to any prompts during the install?

ok so i figured it out , and now it is working fully .

when you download rtpMIDI there is no option to install as administrator . so , once you install it you must right click on rptmidi desktop icon select file location , then right click each rtpmidi.exe files and in propeties check the box > RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Then restart computer and all is great .

ok so i figured it out , and now it is working fully .

when you download rtpMIDI there is no option to install as administrator . so , once you install it you must right click on rptmidi desktop icon select file location , then right click each rtpmidi.exe files and in propeties check the box > RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Then restart computer and all is great .
