Are you asking about MIDI Designer XW? You need a way to connect to the XW. Easiest solution is iPad camera connection kit

Which App do you have? MIDI Designer XW or MIDI Designer Pro? If you have MIDI Designer Pro, you need to use Config -> Actions -> Load Layout.

thank you so much.. I've done it and it works! MIDI designer XW only I got but I guess I need to purchase the PRO..cheers!
