What can be done when MIDI designer receives a MIDI message?

Question

Brand new to this app, so forgive me if these questions have already been answered. I did a search but didn't find anything specific.

I would like to know if MIDI designer can send a MIDI message back when it receives another MIDI message.

For example, if it receives a PC message, it would send out sysex messages requesting updates of the controls in the preset.

Another thing would be if MIDI designer could change presets or layout when receiving a specific MIDI message.

Is that possible with this app?

1) Yes, MD can respond to MIDI Messages with a supercontrol and send messages on to ALL destinations with a subcontrol in response.
2) MIDI Designer can do the following in response to MIDI messages:
a) switch global preset
b) switch pages
c) change Presets for Groups

MIDI Designer can do the following in response to MIDI messages:

• switch global preset
• switch pages
• change Presets for Groups
• and almost anything else MIDI Designer can do
