Transpose knobs and dynamic auto labeling of buttons?

Hi. I'm using (and loving) MD to create isomorphic keyboards to control music applications. This involves having lots of notes on-screen at a given time, and it is important to be able to label what note each button refers to.

I want to be able to use the transpose knob with my keyboards, but there is the issue that the button labels won't auto-update with the new midi values. After transposing, the buttons will still have the original, static labels, which won't correspond to the transposed values.

So my suggestion is to please have an option for automatic, dynamic auto-labeling of buttons. The label would indicate either the midi command number, or the corresponding note name.

Maybe this could also be useful for other users who use transpose in different ways, and who would like to display the transposed value for different control purposes?

It's a great suggestion. I'd love to get some thoughts on how it might work for other things than transpose, like Channel Changers.
