I set my POD HD500 to respond to MIDI channel 1 and NDR-1 to MIDI channel 6.
Devices are physically (analog/digital signal + MIDI) connected as below.
To change presets on HD500, I use SUPERCONTROL (HDDT Sounds) that is triggered by any of the 64 BUTONS related to presets. This SUPERCONTROL sends “Program Change” message to POD HD 500 (MIDI Channel 1)
Each BUTTONS, when pressed, also sends “Program Change” to NDR-1 on MIDI Channel 6.
Result: by pressing a single BUTTON, I control 2 separate devices.
Thanks to MIDI Designer, controlling gears in LIVE mode in no longer a nightmare.
