Imagine a knob which automatically scrolls through its values from min - max, just like an autopan type control would. This would allow you to do some crazy things with midi controls. Things such as an autowah, or auto volume control.

 

You should be able to set the speed at which the control automatically rises and falls.This would be similar to controls that can reset to default value.

This is a subtype of LFO, right? It's definitely on our radar, and we're hoping to get MIDI sync and related happening by Summer 2014.

Yeah LFO is a good way to think about it. It would be low on my list personally but it could add a really dynamic edge for things like my VG99 template that I'm working on. I could do things with the VG99 which aren't currently possible without MD.
