MIDI I/O with MIDI Mobilizer II - MIDI Designer Q&A
MIDI I/O with MIDI Mobilizer II
0
votes
Hello,
I just got Mididesigner and try to connect it with MIDI mobilizer of Line6. It detects the geadget but no signal LED for incoming MIDI data on the mobilizer (Before dedecting there was LED signal).
I firstly just want to route MIDI in to MIDI out and
secondly record the data.
Is that possible?
Sorry, I tried to get through Q&A and tutorial but could not find the proper answers.
Thank you!
Philip

Thanks. First, to confirm, are you positive it's a MIDI Mobilizer I and not a MIDI Mobilizer II? We do't support the MIDI Mobilizer I directly. You'd need MIDI Bridge to access it from MIDI Designer.
Thanks for the fast reply. It's MIDI Mobilizer II
Hello,
is there any other hint for me?
sorry, dropped the ball on this one... so:
So just to be clear: you are getting the LED to light up on the MMII with incoming MIDI? (if we ever lose this thread, you can move to a proper support ticket via support at midi designer)
Because the next question, if the light is NOT lighting up, is: how do you know your MIDI device is producing MIDI? We will figure this out, sorry for the delay.
As I was writing: there was an incoming LED signal before using MIDIdesigner, but not after I started it.
Well, when it produced Midi data before and after without any changes done, why shouldn't while using MIDIdesigner?
Okay, sorry to belabor this point, just clarifying what you're seeing: so you have a MIDI device that is producing MIDI and before starting ANY apps the MMII incoming MIDI light lights up. When you start MIDI Designer, the light no longer lights up?
Note: MIDI thru coming in 1.6. But we still need to solve this.
