Here is a voice editor/control surface layout for the Sonic Potions LXR Digital Drum Synth.

Rename it FIRMWARE and update the LXR.
For each of the six drum voices, there is an editor page from which all voice parameters may be edited on the fly. In addition, there is a mixer with which volume levels, panning, output routing, etc., may be adjusted for all six voices-- on one page.
In some cases, the labels of parameters have been preserved; in others, labels have been expanded or changed altogether.
This LXR control surface is great for creating and fine-tuning drum kits or for tweaking in live performance.
There are, however, some limitations (LXR v0.23, MIDI Designer v1.5.5):
-- The MIDI connection between the LXR and MIDI designer is one-way. If you adjust a parameter on the control surface, it changes on the LXR, but if you turn a knob on the LXR, it will not update in MIDI Designer. That's because the LXR receives parameter CC/NRPN message data, but does not transmit it.
So if you load up a kit in the LXR, the parameter values will not be reflected on the knobs/sliders/buttons in MIDI Designer. If you want to start "from scratch", where all parameters match on both devices, you have to press the "Send All" button found on each drum voice page, which sends all current parameter values from the currently selected page. Then you can sculpt your sound from the control surface and save it as a preset in MIDI Designer or as a kit in the LXR.
-- The "Mute/Solo" buttons are not true mute/solo buttons. Mixer tracks can now be individually muted and soloed without affecting voice levels. Multiple tracks can be muted, but to solo multiple tracks, first sole one track, then individually mute others.
***Note: There is a known issue where the muting of tracks 1 and 2 alters the Morph and Roll amount of the kit, but it only morphs when you change kits IF you have an active Mute button on the iPad. This will be fixed in the next official LXR update.
-- There is a bug in the LXR code where if the LFO destination of voice 6 is set to “ch” via external MIDI, then the MIDI connection is lost and the LXR must be turned off and on before a MIDI connection can be made again. Because of this, the control surface’s LFO Destination knob has been programmed to not make this selection.
