POD X3 Layout: Cannot Select Amps and Cabs

Question

I have tried out the Pod X3 layout. Most of the controls work, but I can't select the amps and cabinets. I have turned on the log and  when I select a guitar amp by pressing the corresponding button I get the following log:

Message Out : Command = 240, Channel is 1, Data1 = 0,  Data2 = 247.

This is not the correct command to select a guitar amp. In the super control the correct midi CC has been defined. It's 11. So why is the wrong command being sent out?

Unfortunately I don’t have my POD X3 Live anymore (I switched to POD HD 500) so I can’t test to see where problem could be.

Last time I used it, it worked fine.

I suggest you refer to Line6 MIDI Reference Chart to confirm that MIDI CC values and assignment didn’t change since last time I played with it.

It is also possible that I perform some changes in MIDI channels when covering POD HD 500 layouts.

Sorry for that, I’d like to help but without hardware to test…

 

I'll take a look tonite to see if this is something I changed without testing (shame on me )

I adapted your layout to suit my needs. So I changed midi channel 5 to midi channel 1. And I fixed the amp selection by removing all the buttons and creating knobs instead. Everything works now. I would still like to know what the cause of the message I described above is, so that I can start using your layout again.

Is it not a problem that my layout has changed? It will be different from Francois' version.
