This layout is designed to control Loopy HD running on another iPad, connected via wi-fi with Apple's Core MIDI which has low latency wireless MIDI.  Loopy HD is a sophisticated audio looper for iPad, with 12 tracks designed for live performance.

Loopy HD does not yet have a way to save, load, or share MIDI binding presets, so the process is via MIDI learn or "add binding" once you are in the Loopy settings.  The panning and volume controls only need to be bound to Loopy using the faders and knobs. The "pan center" and fade in/out buttons are tied to the faders in MIDI Designer, so they don't need a separate Loopy binding.

yeah, thanks Dan.  I took your advice and added some fade in/out buttons for each track.  I love how a horizontal swipe can fade in 5 tracks at once :)

Also, I just updated the Layout link, so all controls are MIDI channel 13.  Also deleted some sub-control cc messages.

My previous link had MIDI all over the place including channel 1, which I usually save for synths/ notes.  

that is easy for users to change themselves, but thought it might help.

Dan, when you get a chance to take a look at this, is there any way to fix the tempo slider?  I understand the cc message has only 128 values so how can I make it accurately send single BPM increments when The range is 40 - 300 BPM in Loopy?  As it is, it looks right in MDPro, but the values increase by an uneven number in Loopy.

It might be a 14-bit CC. If you don't mind, try experimenting with that, first. With a 14-bit CC and the ticks set correctly, you'll be able to get exactly the values you need... assuming that's how they've implemented it.
