Bank-type and lists controls in Reason?

Question

Curious how to get MIDI Designer buttons to work with buttons in Reason such as the following:

Choosing the wave-type in Thor's Analog Oscillator:

When I tried just a button, I couldn't figure out how to get it to work. I figured a stepper system might work, but not sure how to get it to just step to the values/ranges that corresrpond to the changes required for just 4 options in this bank, over a knob range of 128. Is it divided into quarters?

Other examples of this same set-up and system are found all over Reason like in the Malström"s filter and shaper section mode buttons. where there are 5 options:

Also how would you step though a list, accurately or one at a time, preferably with steppers that has a differing set of items, less than 128, like in Thor's Wavetable Oscillator and other such banks/lists with different numbers of items? (not sure what is the correct terminology for these different variations of the same basic thing are)

Anyone had any experience using Reason with MD?

ok, I think I might have answered this now through trial and error. Create a fader and set the number of ticks to the amount in your bank and then create a supercontrol stepper, or steppers to cycle though them.
