Would it be possible to have a way of putting a window with MTC on the screen to verify the DAW is indeed running? - MIDI Designer Q&A

related to an answer for: can we generate midi machine control MMC
in Advanced by glenadamslv (220 points)
Hi and thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to think about this, but first off: do you mean MIDI Clock or MIDI Time Code? Sorry if this seems redundant, just checking...
For my application I use MIDI timecode to synchronize multiple Mac Mini's for various playback items during our show. I hope this helps!
Yes, that helps. So you would want to see the time code in hours/minutes/seconds, or the bar/beat according to some tempo?
Hour / Minutes / Seconds / Frames would be ideal.
Okay, thanks for getting back. At this point I cannot say when it's going to happen, and it might not be until Fall. Getting ready for iOS 7 will definitely take first priority, unfortunately.

Thanks for the love, too.  If you haven't reviewed MD in the App Store, please do. Every bit counts. Thanks!
Dan

This isn't actually an answer... it's a lingering question. Did something like this ever get implemented? I have a similar use for Loopy HD... I'd like to see some indication of where the song pointer is to give me some indication of when to press a pedal (mainly to stop me pressing it a second time too early).

Any display of midi clock, MTC might help me with this... can't seem to find how to do this on this forum, or in videos, etc. (I think I've read/watched all available... apologies if it's staring me in the face and I've missed it!)

Hi and thanks for your "bump" of this question. There's nothing new on this question, though you can use the Log to see what's going on. This is not a solution, but it works.

(I'm currently out of reach and not back until tuesday July 8 to check what other possibilities exist, but most likely the answer is going to be "we'll add this when we add support for clock" or something like that. More on this soon, thanks for your patience)
