Disable iPad going Auto-Lock Without Adjusting Global Preferences

I notice that the iPad goes into standby mode after not using the app for the amount of time set in the preferences. I'd love to see an option that it can stay always on; I can imagine using it in a live performance and having to log in after not using it for a couple of minutes - not good :-) ofcourse I can turn this of in the iPad's global preferences, but it would be better to be able to control it on a per-app basis.

August 14, 2012: This is being fixed for 1.3.8 (being submitted tomorrow or Thursday, then 12 days to approval if all goes well). 

Note: MIDI Designer will only keep auto-lock off if it is the foreground application.
