Current workaround for this is to not use Button Off Sets This to Default, but rather to use a momentary supercontrol. Solution is like this:

  1. Set up a momentary supercontrol for your knob
  2. Change the button to "not steppers" (or similar) under relationships -> options as supercontrol
  3. Change the button to "Send On Only" under Advanced
  4. The Max MIDI value of the button determines the value the sub will snap to. It's proporational, so 127 is the MIDI max of the subcontrol, and 64 will be approximately half of the MIDI max of the subcontrol.
