My first guess is that you've made the button a supercontrol of the knob. This is not correct. Just make a new knob, a new button, and set the Button-Off-Etc value of the knob to be the button. This will show you how it works. Please let me know if this helps or if we need to go another round. Thanks!

can I mark this as closed?
Dan,

What do you mean by 'set the Button-Off-Etc value of the knob to be the button"?  I don't understand.
Hey Effegee, Robert: I'm going to mark this as resolved, but please open up a new issue if this is still open. Thanks!
