Summary: A fresh iPad editor for Roland’s newly announced n/vision. Explore its moving wavetable layers, shape both parts, and reach modulation and effects across six spacious pages.
Announced October 2026, Roland’s n/vision combines Boutique portability and two-part wavetable synthesis. It launches in Japan in November 2026. Available for preorder in the US from Sweetwater and Guitar Center, with no date announced. Best on iPad or Mac; also perfectly usable on iPhone.
Explore n/vision’s two-part wavetable engine with independent Lower and Upper Sources pages beside Tone or Motion & Space. Hardware-inspired colors keep musical roles recognizable as you pair pages.
Explore n/vision on Roland’s website.
Notes
Use Lower on MIDI channel 1 and Upper on channel 2. Turn Drawing off for wavetable editing and set LFO or delay synchronization on the synth.
Opening the layout does not fetch the current patch. Built from Roland’s MIDI documentation; n/vision owners are invited to test and share feedback.
