Summary: A fresh iPad editor for Roland’s newly announced n/vision. Explore its moving wavetable layers, shape both parts, and reach modulation and effects across six spacious pages.
Meet Roland’s brand-new n/vision: Boutique portability, two-part wavetable synthesis and a world of moving textures. Announced October 20, 2026, with a November 7 launch in Japan, it brings a fresh sound-making engine to the Boutique family Roland began in 2015.
Explore evolving pads, bold leads and shifting layers with an iPad editor built for this new instrument. Six pages put 110 CC controls within reach. Scan wave positions, blend layers, shape envelopes, then add movement and space, with independent Lower and Upper navigation.
Best on iPad or Mac; also perfectly usable on iPhone.
Connect via a compatible DIN MIDI interface. Set Lower channel 1, Upper 2, System 3; select MIDI Designer input/output and turn Drawing OFF for wavetable edits. Set LFO sync on the synth.
Built from Roland’s MIDI specification; software-tested, awaiting hardware testing. Raw 0–127 values; no initial patch sync. Owners of this new synth: try it and help us refine it!
