MIDI Target Manufacturer(s): E-MU Systems
First off, let me start by saying the Z-Plane filter is in a league of its own. That's what makes the E-mu Rompler/Sampler range so well suited for 90s R&B. I started designing this layout 6 years ago, so it's been a work in progress. Emu were a great manufacturer when it came to sysex. Nearly all of their samplers and romplers can be fully controlled via sysex. One point to remember however is that they implement two buffers for control. One for changes via sysex, the other for front panel changes. Please be aware that you can easily change some parameters via sysex (namely layer changes) and the front screen wont reflect the change until you scroll through the menu.
All the sysex is working fine from my initial tests but it really helps to understand just how the emu romplers work (layering system etc). That will make it far easier to use. I am currently working on the Proteus 2000, which I'll be uploading soon.
Thanks to Dan for this great app!
