MoDrum Sync & MDP startup, preset issues

Question

Hi,

When I start Modrum & have it sending midi clock sync to Bassline app, then start MDP, most times MDP just hangs on the load screen.  However, if I start MDP first, there are no issues with using MoDrum & Bassline apps.

I don't know if this is a bug with MDP, but after a search I couldn't find anything on it - has anyone had any issues with loading presets to virtual midi apps?  Specifically, when I load a preset to NLog Pro, sometimes, some of my MDP controls will stop working in NLog. My instinct says it's a problem with NLog, but I thought I'd ask here too..

1) what's the simplest scenario to get MD to hang on load screen? Can I just use Modrum? 2) could be a problem with overloading NLog. Try fewer controls and see if it hangs (if you feel like diagnosing). Eventually, MD will allow you to throttle.

Hi,
1) The way I described is the simplest way - doesn't do it with just MoDrum, maybe if MoDrum is sending sync to another app it would do it too.  It's not a big deal, just strange.
2) Thanks for the info Re Nlog - I didn't realise it was possible to overload a synth with midi CC parameters & clock sync..I'd appreciate any other info u could give me on this please!  With quick testing with the iPod version (running on the iPad) the bug doesn't happen, maybe due to less CPU..?
